the larger-diameter spool, we didn't have to trade off crankin'
power to get a faster retrieve -- just check out
the line recovery rates! Because the line isn't coiled so
tightly, you'll also see big gains in casting distance, plus
reduced line twist and a smoother, more consistent drag. We've
also incorporated an ultra-compact body design for comfort and tighter
precision, and the upgraded 8-bearing system includes double-shielded stainless steel
ball bearings and PowerLock? instant anti-reverse. Meanwhile, all the goodies
you'd expect are there, too: anodized aluminum body and side-cover;
machined-aluminum spool; stainless steel bail wire; titanium-coated line roller; stainless
steel mainshaft; machined-aluminum handle; and soft-touch knob. Ultra-Compact Gearbox The
ideal spinning reel frame has only two jobs: contain the
gears, and prevent flex. (Extra room for in-laws or spare
